Verified Mark Certificates (VMC) and Common Mark Certificates (CMC) turn your inbox presence into branded, verified real estate. Your customers see your official logo before they even open the email — and phishers can’t fake it.
Hi Priya,
Your July statement is now available in your account. Total due: ₹12,480 by 5 August.
View statementEvery email you send is an impression. Mark certificates make sure that impression is
verified, branded, and impossible to spoof.
Your verified logo only appears on mail that passes DMARC authentication. Spoofed and phishing emails show up bare — making fakes instantly obvious to your customers.
A recognised logo next to the sender name makes your email stand out in a crowded inbox. Brands adopting BIMI consistently report higher open rates and stronger deliverability.
With a VMC, Gmail adds the blue verified checkmark beside your name — the same trust signal users already understand from social platforms, now on your email.
Both display your logo in supported inboxes. The right choice depends on your
trademark status.

Getting a mark certificate involves email authentication, logo formatting, and CA validation. Our team manages each step so you don’t have to become a DNS expert.
We review your domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC status and your logo's trademark position, then recommend VMC or CMC.
We bring your domain to DMARC enforcement (p=quarantine or p=reject) — the non-negotiable foundation for BIMI.
Your logo is converted to the required SVG Tiny P/S format, and we guide you through DigiCert's organisation and identity validation.
We publish your BIMI DNS record with the issued certificate. Your logo — and checkmark, with a VMC — starts appearing in inboxes.
Three things: a legally registered organisation, DMARC at enforcement level on your sending domain, and your logo. For a VMC the logo must be a registered trademark with a recognised IP office (USPTO, EUIPO, UK IPO, IP India and others). For a CMC, evidence that the exact logo has been publicly used for at least 12 months is enough.
A CMC typically completes within days to a couple of weeks once DMARC is enforced. A VMC takes longer because the CA verifies your trademark — plan for a few weeks. If you still need to register a trademark, that’s the longest part of the journey, which is why many brands start with a CMC.
No — the blue verified checkmark is exclusive to VMC holders. A CMC displays your logo in Gmail and Yahoo Mail without the checkmark, and does not display in Apple Mail. It’s still a major visual upgrade over the default initials avatar.
Indirectly, yes. The certificate itself isn’t a spam-filter bypass, but the DMARC enforcement it requires significantly strengthens your sender reputation with Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft — which is exactly what mailbox providers now expect from bulk senders.
Yes. Many businesses deploy a CMC immediately for the logo benefit, file their trademark in parallel, and upgrade to a VMC (adding the blue checkmark) once registration is granted. Your BIMI setup carries over.
